PUBLIC NOTICE- REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
QUALIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
FY25 EPA BROWNFIELDS CLEANUP GRANT
SUSTAINABLE LINCOLN CORP
This notice is to inform the public that the Sustainable Lincoln Corp has been awarded a $400,000 EPA Brownfields Grant. The SLC is seeking a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) to carry out necessary tasks associated with our Brownfields Program. The initial term of this agreement shall commence upon execution and will end upon completion of the tasks associated with the contract. It is expected that the chosen firm will be available to begin work as soon as a Notice to Proceed is issued, and work with the SLC through the contract period. Respondents to this RFP will need to access the full bid package, which is available at the Lincoln Town Office located at 29 Main Street, Lincoln, Maine and on the Town’s website (https://www.lincolnmaine.org) or by emailing Ruth Birtz, Economic Development Administrator for the Town of Lincoln via email at ruth.birtz@lincolnmaine.org as the authorized agent for the Sustainable Lincoln Corp. An electronic copy of the proposal in .pdf format shall be delivered via email to Ruth Birtz at ruth.birtz@lincolnmaine.org with “Brownfields cleanup P5 at the former LP&T site – QEP” as the subject heading. Proposals will be accepted until September 30,2026 at 5:00 p.m. local time.
