MEDWAY FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Medway Fire Department,a, municipal department, is applying to the Maine Board or Emergency Medical Services to operate as a Ground Ambulance Service. The proposed service will be licensed at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level and permitted to provide care at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) level with a proposed 9-1-1 Primary Response Area of Medway. There is no change at the way the public will request emergency services; citizens should continue to call 9-1-1 for all emergencies.
The public is invited to make comments to Maine EMS regarding the proposed application. Comments must be received by Maine EMS within 30 calendar days after the date of this notice’s publication. Comments must be mailed to Maine EMS, 152 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0152
