Installation of Heat Pump in the Transfer Station Office
The Town of Enfield is requesting bids from Contractors to Install a heat pump in the Transfer Station Office, located at 593 Hammett Road Tax Map 002, Lot 014 in Enfield, Maine. A complete bid package including labor and materials for installation of items listed below but not limited to:
• Provide a Heat Pump sized to fit a 12’ x 6’ Office Space (1st floor only) for efficient heating and cooling.
• Provide stable base for Heat Pump (exterior unit).
• Provide rain guards for the Heat Pump that is under the eaves with drip lines (exterior unit).
• Provide electrical connection/wiring of the unit.
• Provide any applicable rebates for heating/cooling through Efficiency Maine or another source.
It is suggested that all respective bidders perform a site visit to understand what materials are needed and the scope of the job. Any Inquiries about the project can be made at the Enfield Town Office Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by email request of the Code Enforcement Officer at ceo@enfieldmaine.org. Questions regarding this RFP are due by 4:00 p.m. on October 22, 2026. The bid award will be based on the total bid price and awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The Town of Enfield reserves the right to accept or reject any bids. All bidders must provide proof of Worker’s Comp Insurance or waiver, W-9 and General Liability Insurance.
Sealed bids labeled “Transfer station – Heat Pump – Do Not Open” will be received by the Town Office at 789 Hammett Road Enfield, ME 04493 until 4:00 P.M. on October 26, 2026. Bids will be opened at the Selectboard meeting on October 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
