Roberta Whalen - Owner/Publisher/General Manager
Roberta Whalen is the wife of previous owner David Whalen. As General Manager, Roberta oversees the daily operations at the news, personnel, all newspaper and commercial printing production, and community/public relations.

Chris DeBeck - Editor/News and Sports Reporter
Chris DeBeck has been with the Lincoln News since 1998 as a sports reporter and most recently, adding to his duties, as Editor. His background includes a journalism degree from UMaine, his work at the Bangor Daily News sports desk and as a reporter at The Houlton Pioneer Times and the Courier-Gazette in Rockland. Chris uses his coverage skills to report and write, as well as oversee the responsibilities of staff reporters and freelance contributors who also cover the greater Lincoln area.

Delores Dill - Production Manager/Asst. Editor/Customer Service

Delores, a Lincoln native, served in the Navy for 20 years in the communications field. Upon her retirement from the Navy in 2000, she moved to NH where she worked at New Hampshire Ball Bearing and worked her way up from an assembler to a technician. She moved back home to Lincoln in 2007 and joined the News staff in 2008 as a collater and worked her way up to her current position. Her duties include final newspaper layout production, creating ads as well as head of the Coming Events and Social Pages sections.

Ben Meiklejohn - News Reporter/Photographer

Ben graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in English and concentration in creative writing. He has been a journalist for the Portland Phoenix and the Biddeford-Saco-Old Orchard Beach Courier. Ben has lived in a diverse range of Maine towns, including Acton, Kennebunk, Lincoln, Madawaska, Mount Desert, Old Town, Orono, Portland, Sangerville and Shapleigh -- giving him a comprehensive experience of the Mainer identity.

Brian Brown - News/Sports Reporter
Brian Brown graduated from UMaine with a journalism degree in 2006. Brian’s passion for sports shows in his highly accurate reporting of all Katahdin region school teams activities. Brian not only reports sports, he is also a fine news writer and supplies in-depth reporting of a broad range of newsworthy coverage on in the Katahdin arena.
