The Town Office in Mattawamkeag will open to the public starting Monday, June 8, 2020 for regular business hours. Only one person in the building at a time. If someone is in the hall, please wait outside until that person leaves the building. Masks are required if possible.

Effective June 9, 2020 the Town Office, located at 43 South Chester Road, will be open to the public.  Following CDC guidelines, only 2 people will be allowed in the office at a time. We encourage residents to continue to use the walk-up window and drop box located in the entryway. 

 

BID NOTICE
TOWN OF LINCOLN

The Town of Lincoln is accepting bid proposals for a culvert replacement project located on the Sweet Road.  Job specifications may be obtained from the Public Works Department located at 7 Park Avenue. A site visit can be arranged by calling the Public Works office at 207-794-6658 Monday thru Thursday 6:30AM -5:00 PM. The deadline for submitting a proposal is June 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.

Nomination papers will be available the Town Office on June 5, 2020 for the following positions:
  One 3-year term for Board of
Selectpersons
   One 3-year term for
Mattawamkeag Wilderness Park Commissioner.
Nomination papers must be returned to the Town Office no later than July 10, 2020.

The Town Meeting tentatively will be held on July 27, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Municipal Building.

 

TOWN OF MILLINOCKET
PUBLIC HEARING

ORDINANCE #5-2020 - CURFEW, CHAPTER 94 ARTICLE II CODE OF THE TOWN OF MILLINOCKET
The Millinocket Town Council will hold public hearings on the proposal of the addition of Chapter 94 Article II of the Millinocket Code which will be an addition to the Town of Millinocket Code. The hearings will be held during the Council meetings of June 25, 2020 and July 9, 2020 in the Council Chambers located in the Municipal Building, 197 Penobscot Avenue, beginning at 4:30 PM.

There will be a public hearing at the June 8, 2020 Special Town Council Meeting at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers for the purposes of hearing oral and written comments on the fiscal year 2021 annual Town budget.

You may also choose to voice your questions or concerns at the meeting by standing outside the Town Office in line (with social distancing) and enter the Council Chambers one at a time to have your voice heard.
Please have your questions into the Town Clerk via mail, drop box, or the questions emailed no later than 5:00pm on Monday June 8, 2020.
